Often times in killing my sin I look into the heart of the law and I want to say "NO!" Then, I turn and look into the heart of the world and say the same. Only when I look at the cross and see God's booming "NO!" to sin and passionate "YES!" to me do I begin to understand what his law really is. It's the true character of God, that is, the character of the one who said "YES!" to me. It's the path that we as believers tred when he says, "Follow me."
