Call To Worship January 3, 2016

We worship our God who sustained us through the last year. Many joys were experienced among us and the Lord planned those joys. Some sadness was evidenced in our midst and the Lord used each trial. All of these types of providence were for our good and ultimately for His glory. We now come to the start of a new year in the kind providence of the one true living God. Let us come to worship Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. There is no better place to begin a new year than worshipping with God’s people. “Let us not forsake assembling together,” according to Hebrews, “as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.” The day of the Lord is always closer, so we must encourage one another in the assembly that we may persevere every day, especially in the year ahead.
