Call To Worship June 28 2015
Mercy and grace abounding free,
To sinners saved by God’s decree,
No work of man may be their plea,
But only Christ’s work stands for thee.
For sinners saved by grace alone,
Know their faith will not atone,
The faith they have is a gift as well,
And causes not their pride to swell.
The sinner saved boasts in one thing:
The Son of God who killed death’s sting.
So turn away from self and pride,
And only look to Christ to hide.
Hide in Christ the firm foundation,
And took on sin as perfect oblation,
He died in sacrificial lamentation,
To finish off sin’s final damnation.
